suspicions.....

Hello again. Please can somebody tell me, regarding my UK Yahoo account:

Is there anyway to know if somebody else is accessing my email a/c ?

If so, how, and can it be dated ?

Is the only way to prevent this (if it is happening) to have separate accounts for separate groups ?

I do change my passsword frequentlly, but believe there exists an easy way of breaking such passwords ?

Thanks

Why do you suspect this?

Not with Yahoo, I don't think. www.fastmail.fm has this facility.

Not sure what you mean.

I'm not sure if the passwords remain when you log off from IM. I would suggest not to save passwords.

If someone is sending mail, apparently from your address, this is very easily done and access to your account is not required. Spammers do this a lot. Never believe where an e-mail is from.

Yahoo is a real pain at the moment, with this new email system they are trying to introduce. I accidently accepted it, and I just cant handle it. Luckily I found a way out, but I`m sure I`ll have no choice in the future.
