Fastmail app

Firstly, thanks for this app, I'm using it more and more. I love the search function. And it is slowly replacing k9 mail for me on android.

When looking at messages, I've found you can tap the text and then a menu appears above, to delete messages, move them, etc. In many of the messages I get, however, this does not work. I think they are html messages with lots of formatting. I have to go out of the message, then select it to move it or swipe it to delete it.

An I doing something wrong?

Thanks
/cl

Try tapping on the subject line.

Well, Nothing worked on those messages before... now I cannot find a single message that has a problem with this... I'll post back if something changes...

I had a similar problem when I first started using the app. It was because I had remote image auto-load disabled (which I continue to leave disabled), but the placeholder whitespace was a hyperlink. So tapping whitespace in the email actually booted me out to a URL instead of toggling the action icons.

The easy solution is to just tap the subject line to toggle the action icons. Get in that habit and it will never fail. Tapping the email body is always a gamble
