Let me earn my emd membership by posting a beautiful piece of music, compliments of the Grimethorpe brass band. I am sure that Malc would far prefer to listen to this

Well thank you David, I do like to HEAR a wide range of genres, and can certainly appreciate the talents of the Grimethorpe brass band, but I'm not sure I would pay to see them

Malc: I fear (because of the lack of applause) that many do not appreciate the pure unadulterated brilliance of the Grimethorpe brass band

It's interesting how some can't BEAR to listen to certain music. The Rite of Spring by Igor Stravinsky created a riot at it's premiere in 1913.

BARN dance music is likely the most horrible music to listen to.

Since I was BORN and have always lived in Texas, my musical tastes are rather broad (Bob Wills, Janis Joplin, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Spoon).

Some music can certainly BORE some people so much that they might fall asleep listenning to it.

The choice of music is still a BONE of contention in this thread, even though we discussed this matter before.

It is oft times said that music can soothe the soul and send you to heaven.

While a good friend may lend you an ear or a shoulder to help soothe your soul, a TRUE friend will be sittting next to you in the cell exclaiming, 'Whoa, that was alot of fun!!'

Ah, but a Swan Song can be so beautiful. It almost brings a bead of teariness to my eye..

ok, I trust the lead balloon/swan song thing can be a sort of musical preference statement..
