Yes its hard if you don't live in the US because of the exchange rate.
$50 USD is about $74 here plus a silly bank fee. |

I joined in 2001 and left after a short time (I no longer remember why). Came back in 2004 and have stayed ever since.

What's the point of that blog post if they are not offering a discount? ://...
I mean, good for them and all that, but why should I care? They are just patting themselves on the back lol, "look at us, so successfull". I am cynic today, sorry guys. |

Aug. 2004 is the earliest date in my 'billing history'. I used FM at first as a backup email service. In the mid 1990's or so I got a domain name for a permanent email address to forward to whatever ISP I was using and a month or so later I got a web host package so I could install Squirrelmail and started using that hosts mail servers. For the last 15 years FM has been my primary email service.

I was told about Fastmail by a friend and joined in April 2004, and joined this forum the following month.

Thunderbird (60) Lightning (6.2.5) not working
I joined in, I think, March 2002. I had a complete history with all of the referral credits and payments up to the point they introduced, and I switched to, a family account, then the history info disappeared.
I don't come here so much now. I check in when something is not working. Right now it's the Lightning calendar add-on for Thunderbird. Here to see if I'm alone in this. To begin with I was getting caldav.messagingengine.com errors from calendar subscriptions that no longer worked. I finally got around to deleting them and starting again. Followed the instructions, including restarting Thunderbird (v60.9.0; 64bit on Linux). No joy. /Sigh |

Yes, they changed some time ago, however they carried on working for a long time and then ceased to do so, and I didn't do anything about the annoying password requests because I didn't see immediately why I was being asked for them. It turned out to be the Lightning extension in Thunderbird which I haven't used in a long time (in fact, I mostly use the web interface which is why I'd let this slide).
I deleted the old calendars and followed the latest instructions, including trying restarting Thunderbird. Am parking this for now and will revisit later. My Lightning version is showing v6.2.5, not the same revision as Thunderbird, which I think it should now be, so I suspect it's a Lightning problem not a Fastmail one. Am aware of the blog and of Fastmailstatus, thanks. (Been using Fastmail for a while) |
