Gmail attachment.
I was using Gmail and instead of downloading and attachment I just opened it and edited it. When I closed it, it asked if I wanted to save, I clicked save. It didn't ask where I wanted to save the document to. Now I can't find it. I have check Temporary Internet Files. Did I lose the edited document? If not, where can I find it?

If you edited it online, then it was saved online.
Sign into Gmail and choose "Documents" from the top line menu. That should show you all the documents Google has saved in the cloud for you. |

If you are using Windows, and opened the document in its own application, it most likely saved it in your temp folder, and you have little chance of reviving it. If you edited using Google Docs, it's saved there.
