Clickable email address links - where'd they go?
I always liked how when I would open a message in my inbox or sent folder, how all the addresses up in the To, From, CC, etc. fields were clickable to compose a new email message. Was very helpful for workflow. Will this functionality be returning? Please....

Thanks for the feedback.
We had complaints about the "Add to Contacts" icon being shown for addresses that were already in Contacts, so we removed that and added a link to "Edit Contact" for those addresses instead of Compose. Then we decided to remove the Compose links from the other addresses for consistency. We will consider re-adding the Compose links for addresses not in Contacts if there is demand for it. - Geir |

I think re-adding the Compose links for addresses not in Contacts will confuse everyone.
For me, it's good as it is. However, I don't send that many e-mails. I think it would be better to remove the link to "edit contact" and make it so it opens a new compose window. Adding an icon near the e-mail would let one edit the contact. (I think that's how it used to be?) |

I'm a runbox customer since 2003 - and I demand it. Is that enough?
Just kidding, but yeah, it was really helpful in being able to compose to ANY specific address just with 1 little click (without adding to contacts or anything). Oh well. Last edited by kbkgraphx : 3 Feb 2014 at 12:38 AM. |

I have re-added the Compose links for now, and left the blue color for addresses in Contacts. - Geir |

Wow, Geir, thank you so much - what service! Now, I also demand that you change the interface to a hot pink and red color scheme ...well, maybe just for Valentines Day would be OK.

There's actually a purple/pink color theme available in Preferences.

I just checked out the other color schemes - yikes! - I'm gonna stick with default - it's default for a reason. Maybe a charcoal gray and light gray/blue scheme would be a nice addition? Would be different, but still classy and professional.
Keep up the good work, thx. |
