fastmail.com now failing on Windows 7 Chrome
On Windows Chrome Version 109.0.5414.120 (latest for Windows 7) as of this afternoon I get this fail:
https://i.imgur.com/JtXyMJA.png every time. Firefox is OK. Anyone else? I wonder if the devs have changed the client code. Last edited by chrisjj : 31 Oct 2024 at 07:15 AM. |

This looks like a probable caching problem, most likely with the cookies. Try clearing the cookies associated with Fastmail and see if the issue is resolved.

Also see the help on supported browsers:
https://www.fastmail.help/hc/en-us/a...orted-browsers Version 109.x is indeed the final Chrome version supporting Windows 7 - it was released in January 2023. The final service pack for the Windows 7 operating system was released in February, 2023. Fastmail doesn’t handle support requests for discontinued operating systems, according to Fastmail Help pages. You might want to edit your initial post and remove that link. It’s a customized link for you which reveals a little bit about your account. What is the actual error message (without any identifying information)? Bill |

Clearing cookies solved it. Thanks. I am going to assume that yes the devs did change the code and in doing so made it incompatible with existing cookies.

Thanks. I've replaced the link with the correct one - to the error message. |
