silly ebay auction

Someone is selling a "rare" FM address on ebay:
http://www.ebayitem.com/190043177512
I find it both very sad and very humourous at the same time.

I agree. I hope this isn't a start of a trend of selling email addresses that contain trademarks in the username.

At least FM is going for $4.99. The scrolling list at the bottom has many different services going for different prices. Like Bluebottle is $0.01 and some others at $0.99.

Oh, biddings closed for the FM one now... (no, I wasn't going to bid for it )

Indeed, and report the smartass to ebay as well. Not only are the guest accounts not for business purposes but the same seller is listing multiple guest accounts. Hot properties indeed.

Locked accounts really don't have much value!

Actually the ad claims it is for "Buisness" and not "business".

That's right. And there are other words in the ad spelled incorrectly.

I'm wondering if that eBay user's account was hijacked. From a few comments in their feedback, it doesn't look like e-mail addresses were typical of what they sold.
