Unhappy attachment limits?

This page:

https://www.fastmail.fm/help/account/limits.html

says: "You may send any kind of attachment, as long as the resulting email is under 70 MB in size (due to encoding issues this usually means an attachment of 50 MB)."

Simple enough (in theory).

However (in the real world):

"Failed to add attachment - some.jpeg not added. Cannot add more than 10485760 bytes of attachments"

The manual doesn't seem to know what the program is actually doing.

Old guest and member accounts still have a limit of 10MB. The documentation doesn't cover those accounts because they're no longer supported.

If on the other hand you are on a paid service level, then there's something wrong, and you should contact support.

The sentence right above the one I quoted mentioned different limits for legacy accounts (as far as the number and size of messages such an account could receive in one day). No problem if different limits do exist, but I think that they should be mentioned in the documentation.

If Luxsci can do 200 mb attachments, why can't FM?
