Only Recieving Some of My Emails

I have not been receiving all the emails that have been sent to my gmail account in the past few weeks. Multiple people have told me that they sent me emails which I never received. I also have been getting grouped emails days after the other recipients received them. I checked that my POP is disabled, the spam and trash folders and everywhere else and I cannot locate these emails. I am waiting for jobs I applied to to contact me back and I cannot continue not getting all my email!
Please help!

I have also faced this issue many times in recent days...upto a level where I am searching for other options like yahoo/hotmail
