I don't know what the Google buyout means for Writely, except that Writely is no longer taking new sign-ups. Current users can still log on, though. This information is all on the Writely site.

Why doesn't it let me sign in? I had an account on writely (was lucky to have it made when I heard about it on this thread).

When I click on the "existing users sign in" I get back the same writely home page.

Regatrds,

P.S.: Thanks for the pbwiki link .
That one is also at pbwiki. You have the option of making it publicly viewable or not. I think that's actually the difference. So you go to Settings/Visibility and you make it publicly viewable (or not).

I get that behavior when I try to log in with Safari (not supported), but am able to log in to the same account just fine with Camino (supported).
