Present opinions on Tutanota?
Someone recommended Tutanota in the topic I started about services with 2FA that are good for just sending, receiving and storing emails, without other functions (or with the option to not use or disable other functions). I didn't know Tutanota yet really, but saw them being mentioned now and then on Reddit.
I searched in the history of posts here on EMD, and did see a few recent rather negative topics on Tutanota: http://www.emaildiscussions.com/show...light=tutanota http://www.emaildiscussions.com/show...light=tutanota So what is the current opinion of those who use Tutanota? The issues mentioned in the above topics were from a while ago, so unless issues and problems are frequently occuring they're probably no longer relevant. I'm interested in hearing about the current state of Tutanota and how reliable they are. Thanks in advance for any opinions |

Positive. DDOS attacks are under control. They are slowly, but ongoing rolling out new features.

So reliability is no longer an issue then (unlike what was indicated in those older topics I refered to)?

Surprised you didn't get more replies here. I thought this was a popular alternative.
I am in need of some free no-telephone options and was thinking of trying it. |

Personally would like to use it but won't unless I could migrate my old emails there.

I'm also surprised I didn't get more responses. Tutanota is well known after all. I'm still curious if they're a reliable option or not. |

I'm not.
You have a tendency to ask endless questions about provider this or that, and never actually try the provider yourself. Berenburger gave you a positive report in July - that was a cue for you to try Tutanota for yourself. You could have then reported back here on your experience. Instead you ask more questions? |
