Protonmail
I remember a couple of years ago when Protonmail first started sending out invitations to secure your preferred user name, I jumped at the opportunity. Only recently have a I actually set up the account and thus far it seems to be stable enough to use it as a primary email service. Given recent events, it also seems to be the only truly secure email service out there as pretty much anything U.S. based is crap when it comes to security.
Any others here use Protonmail as your primary email account? If so, are you pleased with it? |

Email services like ProtonMail does exactly this and additionally storage encryption which does not add practically any further protection and you have to trust their implementation of PGP. Its also worth noting that open source webmail like Rainloop (which we use) also provides client side OpenPGP support. |

Secondly, I'm suspicious of any claims of "true security" from any email provider, for a number of reasons. But even if said claims hold up, they can never provide any sort of security for the messages I send to people *not* using Protonmail, i.e. 100% of my personal contacts.Sadly, that makes using a service like Protonmail kind of a moot point for me. |
