Switch alias and real user ?

Hi

I have two domains ; x.com and y.org

I have user user1@x.com
Alias user1@y.org links to the user user1@x.com

But I do not like this solution, is it possible to switch user and alias without losing everything (identities, received emails,...) ?

Thanks

You will not need to lose any old messages, but you may need to redo some settings.

I think best will be this:
  • Remove the existing alias (your user1@y.org);
  • Rename your account to use that name..
Your old account name user1@x.com will automatically become an alias of the new account name. All the identity type information for your user1@x.com will be intact, as will any Personality and Signature associated with user1@y.org but Rules may need to be recreated

Proceed carefully!

By the way, what is the practical problem with your current setup?

I am going to test

Actually, I find my alias domain "smarter" than my actual user so I thought about changing the way I login
