In a few months I will complete 4 years with fastmail.

Most of time with FULL account. I used a Enhanced account for about 1 year, when I used fastmail to host one of my domains.

Edit: wow, I am one of the oldest clients here!

In April 2003 as I recall, had started four Enhanced accounts for my family and I.

Never was a Guest or Member. I'd found FM in the first place because I'd decided to start using our own mail domains (after having been burned by my ISP's mail accounts). So I'd read the FM FAQ and forum, then had signed us up for Enhanced with own-domain mail hosting right away. Since then we've added extra storage, bandwidth, domains, aliases, etc...

Then in April 2004 I'd found Tuffmail and was again impressed. But I didn't actually try the service until August 2004. When I'd finally combined FM + TM... well, it was like When Harry Met Sally

I'll leave it to you to determine which is Harry, and which is Sally...

This is great! I got a bit flustered regarding a problem at work and the reason ended up being all my fault. So... I went around to everyone and did a "massive mea culpa."

This humorous entry (exact time of day) helped lighten my spirits.

Thanks, Reuven!

This also helps lighten my day -- as well as some of the other entries in this thread. Thanks again for helping to put me in a good mood again! The humor of you forum members is refreshing!

Well, being a bit lazy, I went into my account, copied the date/time line above and pasted... This is when I paid for my Enhanced account.
I didn't mention that I was using Fastmail well before that date, when it was free. But since the original question was "When Did You Become A Paid Subscriber of Fastmail?" I didn't bother to elaborate.

Following in "Reuven's" footsteps,,,(because I had to look it up, as one of my very famous "senior moments" just washed over me. )

2003-11-29 19:31:00 --Member Account
,,,, then I waited an exceedingly long time to upgrade on
2003-11-30 12:08:57 --Full Account

It took me that long, because I had problems when I went to add more $'s to my account balance for the upgrade.

Slightly OT, but both paid accounts was *after* November 22, 2003, when I probably won a spot in the "Guinness Book of World Records", for having the longest post ever on the forums. ( as a total newbie that didn't know diddly, which can be found: Here

Wow, looking back, I see what a total dimwit I must have appeared to be. But all the wonderful folks on the forums made me feel most welcome, and none laughed at my totally naive questions. That long post and all the replies it generated, is what led to me becoming a paid FM user. And as time went along and I learned my way around, I became a very satisfied and spoiled FM gal. And I'm *still* learning new things as I go along.

This was when I first purchased a member account (which was shortly after upgraded to full...)
But of course I was there also during the beta (and free...) days

May 2005, after playing around with a free account just for a short while. I was anxious to leave Yahoo (paid "Plus" account) for someone who could give me IMAP.
