^ I presume you've never seen the movie then?

The movie is very déjà vu-esque.

It was an attempt at humour but alas I failed miserably.

Yes, I've seen it, quite like Bill Murray and the film.

Wow, one year just flew by. I remember me making a fool of myself one year ago and it feels like it was just a few days ago, not a whole year.

Maybe it was a few days ago -- remember that Groundhog Day happens over and over.

I'm told that this year, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow.

I don't know what was the UK result, but I suspect the same...

Sorry for the day-late post; blame sleep problems plus the fact that I currently have no internet access from my flat.

Yesterday was mostly cloudy here, but with a brief sunny spell at lunchtime; I don't know what the tradition makes of that. Probably that we'll have another two weeks of winter, followed by an early spring.

Regarding Bamb0's post a year ago, I think it would make far more sense if PETA were replaced by robots. Especially since all they have to say about anyone relating to animals is "exterminate, exterminate", so nobody would notice the difference.

Today is brilliant sunshine here in London, so it looks as if our present brass-monkey weather is set to continue.

He's still at it, or some people think he is!

You can fool some of the people all the time, etc.
