Cloud-China.org Email

Hi,

I has a domain email, cloud-china.org, powered by aliyun. Webmail URL: https://mail.mxhichina.com/

The web interface can be setup to english, webmail screencut.

Each account has 5GB storage for free, has IMAP/SMTP/POP3 with SSL. It also has a native iOS/Android App which I use everyday.

The features are rich, you can see the setting screencut.

You can forward mails to other account, or fetch mails from other accounts. The rules for receiving messages work great, rules screencut.

The client setup info:
  • POP3: pop3.mxhichina.com with SSL
  • IMAP: imap.mxhichina.com with SSL
  • SMTP: smtp.mxhichina.com with SSL

OK if you want an account there, please PM me, or drop me an email: pyh at cloud-china.org. please provide the username you want to open. The email address you got should be: username@cloud-china.org. You can change the password at anytime.

Notice: for anti-spam purpose, I require you must be an EMD member for longer than 2 years. Please provide me ID here. Thx.

Just tried the domain and it's not responding, so either the website is down or the domain isn't working as it should.

That influence nothing to email.
For email hosting, only when the MX records work well, the system function right.
for webmail access you can try mail.cloud-china.org, that works.
BTW, I was a DNS guru, is the founder of DNSbed, a professional DNS hosting provider.

I have an account on aliyun.com. Overall it's quite good, has all the basic functionalities. One issue I've found is that its webmail can't stay logged in. Everytime I reopen it asks for the username and password to sign in.

Hmm, I never had this domain and email to do bad stuff, just a email service used primarily by myself.
but who has reported mail.cloud-china.org to google's anti-phishing service?
https://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/

Now when open webmail, I got the warning saying this is a phishing site.
how to recover it?

@communicant, mail.cloud-china.org, this domain name is meaningless. either it's up or down, it influences nothing on sending/receiving messages.

The most important stuff for a mail server is its MX record. others include SPF, domain key, PTR, RBL etc.

Is the email service shut down?

Jeffpan, the email service has disappeared and the domain cloud-china.org redirects to FengHe.org, with a message saying "Welcome to FengHe.org. If you have any interest in the domain which references this document, please don't hesitate to drop an email to: me@fenghe.org," so I assume the domain is for sale.

Did you shut down the email service? You did not reply to a PM asking about it.

You have posted here at the forum about other topics, on dates that came after the disappearance of the email service. If you are still here, would you please post an update about what has happened?

Sorry, the domain cloud-china.org has been expired. I forgot to renew it.

Now I changed the email domain to ***.com, all data including username/password, messages, contacts were not lost, the only change is email address from user@cloud-china.org to user@***.com

Sorry for any inconvenience.
yedujuan means "野杜鹃" in Chinese, a well known flower here.
Anyway it's a com domain, better than the org one, is it?

Jeffpan, I do not understand your post. I still can find no way to reach the email service, at any domain that you have mentioned. Cloud-china.org expired on 12 December 2016 and seems to be for sale; yedujuan.com redirects to the notice concerning FengHe.org that I have quoted in an earlier post above ; mail@yedujuan.com sometimes reaches a Chinese test page which translates as meaningless characters. If the service is still working and no data has been lost, as you say, what is the address of the email service, and how can a user log in?

I have said in the first post, the login URL,

Webmail URL: https://mail.mxhichina.com/

login username: user@***.com
password: the password chosen by yourself

All data didn't get lost.

Jeffpan, what is the English name of the flower called yedujuan (野杜鹃) in Chinese?
