I HAVE the greatest respect for all the brilliant minds posting in this thread so I don't think it will ever really completely die out.

Whoops, bramhall beat me to it. Guess I'm getting slow in my old age. Maybe it's even time to go out and buy myself a CANE

Instead of buying a walking aid, you may choose to SCAN this thread for new postings more frequently.

If I wait to long that could be a big SPAN to get through but still a very good idea so I will certainly consider doing that.

We can SWAP the word we're stuck on for another one after a period of inactivity, as SusanUKF did some 24 hours ago.

"Cwap", said Elmer, "This diwector is getting on my newves"

Ok, so this probably doesn't count, but I thought it was funny and couldn't help but post it. It is a funny commercial too, YouTube - Elmer Fudd in Geico Commercial.

I for one HOPE that they will always run the old cartoons from when I was a child; my children still love them too!

I love seeing my own kids watching the ones that I loved myself at their age.

No one here is about to make a tape of any mistakes SusanUKF, so (if I were you) I would not worry too much about it

Elmer Fudd also has problems when he TAPS on buttons in his house. They don't do what he intended either.
