As you have pointed out.
...................................................................................................................
I am starting all over this is what i have done

my domain
To allow FastMail to host the email for your domain, you need to set the correct DNS records with your registrar. We recommend you set the name servers to:

ns1.messagingengine.com
ns2.messagingengine.com
We will host the DNS for your domain and make sure all the correct entries are set for your email. You can also fully customize your DNS records should you need it.

I have created Alias's

Now if FM instructions are correct I should be in busines without doing any more.
....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

That is all I did and it worked.

Perhaps get some local help.

I suppose you do have the correct fastmail account so that you can use your domain.

Make sure your sieve script is not blocking anything.

It has to be STD or Pro account or an old enhanced, I think that is what they called it.

Bill, your August 19 post was, as usual, brilliant. I thank you and the others who valiantly tried to help this poor soul gain a modicum of understanding of SPF and DKIM records. I truly appreciate the time you gave to that effort.

Thanks. I was mainly responding for the poster who wanted to have SPF and DKIM but use multiple outgoing SMTP domains. In general this is not possible unless each SMTP will DKIM sign appropriately for your domain. The SMTP server itself performs the encrypted signing, DKIM allows two types of signing:
  • SMTP server signs for it’s domain.
  • SMTP server signs for the From (your) domain.
