Forwarding from folders/labels other than inbox

Hi,

How do you create a filter to delete or move emails from folders other than the root inbox folder?

So if I have a folder/label called

Production_Support

(which originally came from Inbox)

, and it contains a thousand emails from 2020, how can I forward all 1000 to a folder/label called

Production_Support_2020

?

Thanks and Regards,

If these 1000 emails are the only ones in the folder/label, simply rename the folder/label to Production_Support_2020 and create a new folder/label called Production_Support.

With labels you can just add another label to whatever one the emails already have. Just select all and add the label.

ODEDP and TenFour,

Hi,

It's resolved. I was able to create the filters, and it works fairly well.

It wasn't about moving 1000 emails one time. I needed something that automatically moved the contents of folder A - but only those which matched certain conditions - to an already existing folder D.

Everything's good, thanks.
