Unhappy Server Outage?

I'm trying to access my fastmail account via the web interface and am getting error messages about the server being down. The status blog shows nothing. About 50% of my attempts to access either the front page or navigate within the site result in the error message below - whilst the other 50% of attempts work as normal. I'm guessing the server can't really be down if hitting refresh repeatedly lets me see my mail.

What's happening?

Nick

Server Issues

@nickplymouth:

Yes, I'm having been having the same problem for a couple of hours now.

As you say, it seems to show the "Server Outage" page about half of
the time, but works ok the other half of the time.

I hope the staff is aware of this issue, and fixes it soon ...

Server 4 - Great for speedy hosting - not so great for housing rockets

I just left the control room, the guys are having a blast (literally) running the show they got over there. They brought a whole box of rockets out there, but I don't think they realize that it's one of their server boxes, they are nerds, you know.

Fortunately, the effects from the rocket recoil last only for a few minutes sorta like kicking the TV for better reception. I suspect a few guys named Jack and Daniels were involved, or maybe they used up our M sticks and put them in there and threw 'em up.

Nah, I'm kidding, I'm getting the same issue... to my surprise they haven't updated Status Fastmail yet.

I have just sent Rob and Bron a message about this issue.
If you have problems with the normal server, please try logging in at:

Also,

Interesting to note that my Bayes databases have been tagged as 0 for the last few days. Saw a sudden increase in SPAM. Only discovered it yesterday and reported it. Maybe it's related.

http://www.fastmail.fm/beta works, but not http://www.fastmail.fm
Also access via Thunderbird seems ok.

For me almost every page results in a Server Outage message, but refreshing opens the page I wanted.

I noticed this several hours ago also.
