Webmail--open email

Can I configure webmail to open an email in a new browser window?

I am not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for but you can check it out and see if it works for you.

From the web interface click on Webmail, Preferences, and click Yes radio button for Compose in a new window. Make sure you Save your Folder Preferences. (I prefer this option set to NO)

Once you have this configured you can also click on the From field in any email message listed in the webmail view and it will open the email in a separate window.

One area that I think could use improvement is the webmail editor. It would be nice to have a WYSIWYG editor.

Clicking on the "From" field opens a new email to reply. Not the desired behavior.

I'm looking for the mail list to stay there in the background while the email I'm reading is in a new window, that's all.

No!

No, you cannot configure RMM to auto-open messages in new window. You want a single click to open messages in new window. RMM doesn't support this.

But, you may use right click and "open link in new tab/window" method to open your emails and keep mail list there on previous page.

Best.
