keep Inbox on Top
hi, does anyone know how you keep the Inbox on top of all the other folders so the Inbox doesn't go in alphabetical with all the other folders

You can't.
The best you can do is name your folders starting with a lower-case letter because they are sorted after the upper-case letters. Regards, Rich |

Another way I use to sort my folders is to use underscores, and double underscores before folder names to keep them listed in different "priority levels." Thus,
Junkmail comes before junkmail comes before _Junkmail comes before _*Junkmail comes before __Junkmail |

The sort order is based on the ASCII value of the characters:
space < * < - < . < digits < uppercase < _ < lowercase As you can see, you can create folder names with special characters (space, *, -, . and _). Be careful with these, some of them you won't be able to see from IMAP. Also, in IMAP, the "." is used to designate subfolders. Even though you can have folders named with upper and/or lower case letters, the Runbox web interface considers them the same when creating and renaming folders. This means that "Spam" and "spam" are the same names and if you try to rename "Spam" to "spam" it will say the folder already exists. Regards, Rich |

Hi Runbox team,
I was just wondering if this is still the case or that something has changed in the meantime which would make it possible to have the Inbox on top of all the other folders? Same goes for the Trash and the Sent folder. It would be very helpful since I have a lot of folders and subfolders... Hope to hear from you. Thank you! Cheers, 50ftQ. |
