How long does an email service keep attachments?
I use mail.com premium service. I get a monthly neighborhood newsletter that I put in a folder I created a few years ago. How long will I be able access them? Indefinably? i.e. as long as the service is in business?

As a general rule, messages are kept forever, except those in the Spam or Thrash folder which usually are automatically deleted after say 30 days.
For an authoritative answer ask mail.com. |

I'm talking about the attachments in the messages, not just the messages themselves.

I'm not aware of any email service which would delete "old" attachments from messages.
Of course this is technically possible, so ask your provider to be 100% certain. |

OK, just thought since an attachment can take up 100 times as much space as a message, it might not be stored long.
