What's wrong with classical music? If it didn't exist, the pop writers would have nothing to steal from...

I loved King Crimson during their "3 of a Perfect Pair" days,
'Red" w/ John Wetton is also a classic. I haven't kept up so much w/them during the current incarnation though. Any of their recent work stand out?... |

Yes, I know the old stuff. Frippertronics rocks!!
I liked the dimension when Adrian Belew joined the band. The older stuff similar to early Genesis w/ Steve Hackett who has put out a few outstanding live albums in the past decade w/ King Crimson/Genesis alumni.. 'the Tokyo Tapes" for one... |

Hi Dan, thanks for reviving my thread again
I'm in the process of replacing some of the albums I've had on cassette or vinyl format. eBay has been a good source for this, recent classic CD purchases include: Bob Dylan ~ Blood On The Tracks J.J. Cale ~ Special Edition Led Zeppelin IV Stevie Wonder ~ Songs In The Key Of Life ...and the first five Little Feat albums: Little Feat Sailin' Shoes Dixie Chicken Feats Don't Fail Me Now The Last Record Album _Malc |

Evermore is pritty cool.
Tho one cd I would NOT reccomend is ol' britney spears 'my perogative, greatest hits' We've had this on at work over and over and over... The new Gwen Stefani song 'what are you waiting for' is very kewl, and the film clip is awesome. Very trippy. The eagles best of is pritty cool as well |

I've found another cool song!
Its called LadyFlash, by the Go! Team. When I first heard it I thought it was a 70's song (the film clip is very retro) But apparently its a 2004 release. Cool song |

There is too much sax and violins in music.
Imagination is the key to my lyrics. The rest is painted with a little science fiction. -- Jimi Hendrix Last edited by a_a : 19 Dec 2004 at 03:25 PM. |

One very cool song I've recently 'rediscovered' is Spaceman by Babylon Zoo. Its currently featuring on the Battlestar Galatica promo's on aussie tv.
