Delete old messages automatically
Is there any way to automatically delete old messages in certain folders? I have list-serves that send me hundreds of messages a day and it is a real pain to manually delete them off of the IMAP server every week or so. If there was some way to automatically clean out old messages in this folder that would be very nice.

How about deleting the folder and recreating it back? Not sure if the messages will be deleted or moved to Inbox.

Well, I wanted to see if there was anything to automatically delete old messages, so I don't have to manually go in there and delete the old ones.

I don't think there's something liek that on the server side. I think if you use IMAP client which support custom script (Outlook for one example), you can create your own rule to delete those messages regularly.
