slow incoming mail?

Hi,

I'm seeing very slow arrival of mail this morning. Is anything backed up? I've sent myself a few test messages and clicked a few "forgot my password" links on various sites and see nothing coming in yet.

I am also experiencing this as of 1PM EST. Since the last fiasco I have Godaddy sending all my mail to gmail and fastmail simultaneously. Gmail has incoming mail sent to me this morning that fast mail yet does not.

My incoming mail is STILL really slow. Can anyone from FM let us know what's going on?

I have sent emails to my fastmail account over a 24 hour period from another email provider and NONE have come through. The other account is working fine but not fastmail. Is there a problem?

Certainly not a major problem (with mail delivery) although there has been some slowness recently - I suspect your problems might be unrelated to the issues expressed in this thread.

It may be something in the U.S its delivering here ok in A.U only talking 3 seconds....

Just thought perhaps I'm on a different server ?

I sent email through to my fastmail account from another provider. It showed up in the fastmail inbox. I then clicked on the junk mail folder and next went back to inbox. The email message I sent (and had not opened - therefore was unread) had been deleted and disappeared. What's caused this?

if you tick view then click on say junk mail it will move that e-mail to that folder without opening it, so perhaps that is what you have done.
Or do you have sieve script rules which are incorrect.

Incoming Fastmail was slow yesterday after the complete failure and is still slow today. Yesterday it took about 20 minutes for a message to arrive in my inbox. Today it's taking about 10 minutes.
