I can retrieve mail from AOL using FM but can't using RB I assume the setup is different with different email services I tried same setup using RB to no avail Is it possible that RB doesn't do pop3

Help me understand... you have a Runbox account and you are pulling in your AOL mail into it on a regular basis? Is that correct? Is this a transitional period from an old email address to a new email address? Does AOL support IMAP instead of POP3? Answers to these questions will help me to help you.

I have a current AOL acct but wish to retrieve mail to my RB acct. I'm not familiar with imap but I can retrieve mail from aol with my fastmail acct but cannot with my runbox acct. I wish to do this on a daily basis. I believe I have done this in the past but not sure

@sheprd: are you sure (when using Runbox) that you are only using the first part of your username (the part before the @ sign) - the server details (and associated info) should be exactly the same, regardless of if you are using Fastmail or Runbox.

David I used same setup with RB as with FM the forgot about it . Went back to RB in a while and lo and behold there was a retrieved message. What I had been doing was send a message to AOL then trying to retrieve it right then and it would not work but leaving it to RB to do the checking it will work. Thanks again to all responders.
