Sorry to hear that Doc!
One negative note i discovered just a few moments ago. That site was trying to hack into my pc (according to Outpost firewall).

Lisa's
http://www.stumbleupon.com/ site is indeed quite pleasant. The first three sites i came upon were automatically set as favourites!

Hey dantheman - what's your id over there? Add me (Gankaku) as a friend and send me a message so I'll know yours. Any sites you like will eventually get displayed to me, and visa versa. :-)

Great site, Lisa! Thanks for sharing that! I'm not a vegetarian by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm trying to eat more healthy -- one way is to try to incorporate some vegetarian eating in my diet. (I have a book called "The Gradual Vegetarian.") A lot of the recipies on that site look delicious!

One of my favorite sites is a tribute site to the Top 40 station of my youth, 77 MusicRadio WABC.

Chipper, a lot of the recipes on that site ARE delicious! We've picked out a few to make and so far none has disappointed, and one we keep making - it's become a family favorite - it's General Tao's Tofu - quick easy and it's gone so quickly. We've used shrimp instead of tofu too. YUMMEHH... :-)

Based on your enthusiastic endorsement, I think I'll make Generals Tao's Tofu my "inaugural recipie."

OT Comment: I heard Dennis Owens on WGMS for a couple days this week when he was filling in for John Chester. Always great to hear his voice again.

Yeah I heard him too. I've never seen him in person but you know, he has this white beard. So imagine when I saw some guy, looking very much like him (or from what I've seen on his pictures on the internet) walking past my house one day. WOW - Could it be Dennis Owens? Maybe he lives in MY neighborhood. LOL So I go and run up to catch this guy and say "Excuse me, are you Dennis Owens?" I don't think he heard me coz we were quite far from one another and he said "Huh?" I said "Dennis Owens?" and he looked at me quizzically. "Aww....Never mind" I said "Sorry to bother you; I thought you were someone else."

Like he'd actually be living in MY neighborhood anyway. LOL

Hi, Mandy!

It's good to hear from you again! A lot of the former regulars have been away due to various circumstances in their lives. Always wonderful when somebody I haven't heard from in a while is here!!
