Burntmail burning up...
From their site:
" Sorry guys - I don't have the time available like I used to. It's been running at a loss for many years, and I'm getting a lot of grief for not being able to keep up to it like I did years ago. As a result, we'll be targetting a permenant shutdown for around this time next year. We won't be accepting payments for extensions, but I can bump out expiry dates for a while if needed. I appologize, but it's something we need to do." |

Sounds like the owner has burned himself out...
But it's nice of him to give one year's notice. Lots of online services nowadays just shut down with little if any warning. Never heard of burntmail before, but the owner sounds like a responsible guy who really cares about his users. |

Yes, I'd say more than any other service I've heard of unless he decides he'll do it 6 months earlier, but of course this may all depend when the lease on potential equipment runs out and if it is being leased when that comes to an end..
