how to set the from address when composing an email

Hi,

I haven't used the FM web i/f for a while, but I could have sworn I could edit the from address the last time I tried it.

Has something changed? How can I do this with the current UI?

FWIW, I want to make up a plus-address or sub-domain address :

No, I don't want to go through the hassle of creating a 'personality'. I don't mind if it checks the address I enter to make sure it is a valid address for my account, which should be simple enough, iinm. If I am signing up for something on a 3rd-party site, I just make up an address, usually of the form site@my.fm.domain, so I am wondering why I have to jump through hoops in order to actually send something.

Am I missing something?

Max.

You create a personality with a wild card "*".
eg *@yourdomain.blah

When you compose an email using this personality, you can edit the from address.

More details in this short thread.
