Spam Folder in GMAIL Account
Hello,
This morning, Saturday, April 23rd, the SPAM folder in my Gmail account claims there is a SPAM message in the folder, however, when I open up the folder there is NO message. Has anyone ever experienced this issue before? Thanks, David |

GMail Help File Information

Hello, IF the information was accurate in my Gmail search, I MAY be dealing with some sort of corrupted e-mail, which Gmail claims can not be deleted. One suggestion is wait 24 hours and see what happens. IF anyone has any additional information regarding this issue please let me know. Thanks, David |

Is this with the Android app? I get it all the time, the web app and IMAP client always works.

I get my e-mail forwarded to my GMAIL account, on my phone. The SPAM folder on my phone says there is an unread message in the folder and it won't let me delete it. When I access the account via the web, the spam folder is empty. Strange never happened before until now. David |

In case anyone is interested, the problem is fixed. I turned off my phone for 30 minutes, and my SPAM folder is now empty. David |

Just to note, Gmail does not support folders, only labels.
The spam marker shows a view of mail with a spam label that is archived (hidden from the inbox) view and is also hidden from All Mail. I am glad the app refreshing the contents of the mailbox eliminated any false flags. |
