My Gmail Account Tine Zone is wrong
Hello,
Most of my e-mail is forwarded to my Gmail account on my phone. When I log into my Gmail account from my new Windows 10 computer, I noticed the time stamp on new incoming mail is 3 hours behind my Eastern time zone location. I have searched GMail Help on how to change the time zone for my Gmail account, but the search results do not contain accurate information on what setting it is under, etc Does anyone have any current information on how to change the time zone for their Gmail account? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, David |

Just some ideas, as I've never encountered this problem with Gmail before.
On your previous computer (do you still have it?) did you notice a problem with Gmail on that computer? On your current computer, have you tried multiple browsers to see if the problem replicates on webmail? Do you have a local mail client on your computer, if so does that show a discrepancy? Does the mail client on your 'phone show the discrepancy? If you use webmail on your 'phone, does that show the discrepancy? |

“My Gmail Account Tine Zone is wrong”
Hmm.. do you wear clothing from this website? http://www.tinezoneapparel.com Or are you a fork enthusiast? http://tinezone.blogspot.com My guess is that your PC is set to PST (not EST). Change this (in the clock) and everything will probably be OK. I assume you are describing the normally displayed time (not the actual time stamps shown when viewing the raw message contents). Bill |
