Susan, in other thread you've supossed i'm duth because of my nickname.
Well, english is not my main language, as you have noted or will in certain moments, but i'm not dutch either. My nickname is because of my daughter's favorite character (Pooh - Mr Sanderz). My real name is Alexander, so, at some point Alexander became Alex Sanderz, and since then i do use it as my nick. |

it is always fun to know what other people nick name means
I participated in... mmm... 3 forums if I don't lost count... this is the 3rd forum I participated in.. the first would be on ogresnet.com, the 2nd is at enlight.com, and yep, this is the 3rd. my nickname doesn't really mean anything. I made this up about 5-6 years ago, when I was in need of a short, brain cell-friendly nickname to sign up for my first ever ISP. the first 3 letters were the first letter of me and my sisters' baptismal names (yes, we're catholic) and the last 2 letters were actually the abbreviation of the state of California (I recently moved to the east coast to be with my wonderful hubby). this is the most info that I ever posted about my nickname! |

Well, let's see, my name, unlike what some may believe, has nothing to do with Linux (Tux the penguin is Linux's mascot). It's more of an inside joke than anything else. Besides, I no longer use Linux, but FreeBSD. Otherwise my name would have to be kingofbeasties.
But on Linux or BSD related forums, as well as on IRC, I tend not to use the name kingofpenguins because of the confusion. |

To get a good alias, try using your middle name followed by the the first word of the street name (where you grew up). That makes me John Millbrook, not bad but it no doubt doesn't work so well for everyone.
