Suggestion - Manual Filter enhancement

I have a suggestion/request for a functionality enhancement of an existing feature (manual filters).

Currently manual filters support various fields for searching, but only support matches of 'contains' or 'does not contain'.

I would like to be able to use 'is' ( case insensitive). So that I can setup filters for an exact match rather than the current wildcard match of 'contains'

'Contains' matching has worked fairly well up to now but more spam is starting to get around some of my ruleset.

I'm fairly sure that whatever backend engine is doing the filtering must support an '=' function as well as an '*=*' function, its just the web UI that doesn't currently support it.

So runbox, how about adding this?

I agree - this would be trivial to implement, but result in a big improvement to usability.

I can confirm that this feature request is on our list of enhancements, and we are looking to see if we can include it in the next release of RMM. As you say, it probably isn't too difficult to do, but then neither are the great number of other things on our list of enhancements

We will see what we can do.

It will most likely not happen with the launch of RMM6. We dont want to delay that.
