I'm the same as ChinaLamb (enhanced with personal domains). just go to mail.yourdomain.tld to login if you want to. ...but you cannot customise that page or change your login ID to use your personal domain unless you move to the "standard" or "professional" plans.

Up to 100 domains are supported for Enhanced accounts.
Does the same apply to the new accounts? (Standard and Professional)

That is documented here: https://www.fastmail.com/help/account/limits.html

100 domains are supported, plus 1 for every user in the account.

Seems like fast mail is strongly positioning themselves towards company email. That's good. That's where the money is. Individuals have limited funds for this. There are a lot of companies wanting email, that don't want Google, or outlook, or open exchange. In that case, is choose fastmail. I'm of the persuasion, however, as an individual user, $40 was a great price point for myself. $50 passes a psychological price point barrier for some reason.

I guess they changed the page last night. I check yesterday and it wasn't there.

I'm not sure about that. I could only help with the links, because I remembered the pages from a few days ago. Maybe they changed the layout, but the information was definitely there.

I agree that getting company business is a good thing for sustainability.

The "enhanced" price has been $40 for quite a while though, hasn't it? I have been paying for 2 years at a time and have been charged the same since 2007 (when I first moved from "member" to "enhanced"). I therefore do not think I can argue with a $10 price hike after 10 years of no price changes (my current 2-years expires in 2017).

I think I will move across to the "standard" plan (I like the new customised login screen) although I have no need for all that space.

I do think it becomes prohibitively expensive if you are on "standard" (for the personal domain) and then want to add multiple accounts for your kids who may be light users.

That may be an oversight or configuration glitch?

I don't anticipate 'feature hold-back' to pressure upgrades from legacy. The jump in mail & file storage is incentive enough (5 to 10GB on Standard).

I quite like the ease of changing one's username for login, until recently that could be done only once in the lifetime of the account. I'm not entirely comfortable using my main email address to log in, a less obvious username seems more secure. And it's like a security master-reset switch. If you suspect your account has been compromised somewhere, changing the account username instantly invalidates all logins. Restoring client access is a simple matter of updating the login username, passwords wouldn't have to all be changed immediately, a somewhat more involved process now.

A useful feature indeed, if only it was available to Enhanced (Legacy) accounts. Glitch ? I somehow doubt it.

I'm hoping that the reason, for me personally, is that my recently added domain name hasn't propagated yet - despite being able to send and receive email (via FM) using it.
