Will RB6 be able to sort files? Added fields for file sorting?

OK, we thought that as questions were being asked we would share more about RMM6.

Last summer our servers were moved so they were co-located with our new partners Copyleft Solutions. A lot of work went on behind the scenes putting new systems in place ready for the future development of RMM. Following this time was spent re-writing the code for RMM, and RMM6 is the first release of this.

RMM6 is not that different to RMM5 at first look, but with the new code in place it will allow for much more rapid development of future features. There is a long list of things on our features To Do list!

RMM6 has two new features:

1. Tags: These will allow you to organise and find emails more easily.

2. Sub-account management: You will now be able to manage any sub-accounts that you have in a similar way to the main account and also see detailed information about the usage of the account.

Regarding the question about the files storage facility; there have been no changes with files at this stage.

As already mentioned, this is a step towards being able to implement many of the features that have been requested in the past, and we will keep you informed of future developments when they happen.

Yes, I'm happy (and very willing) to beta test RMM6. Sounds like you have made some bug changes under the hood and the addition of tagging is great

We thought we would update you on RMM6. Last week at Runbox we were preparing lots of documentation etc... for our Annual General Meeting. As such, RMM6 didn't quite make it in to beta as we thought it would.

We are just setting up SSL and fixing a couple of more bugs on our list and then we will let people have a play as soon as this is done.

Sorry for the delay. We want it to be at least reasonably bug free and considering this is a new re-write of the code it is easy to break something that previously worked.

I'll post more here as soon as there is more news.
