where is the list?

There is an old thread on EMD, I can not find it. Can anyone help? It listed a web page with a whole bunch of email providers with their features, and was made by one of the members. Thanks!

I cannot find it either, possibly it's been deleted. Not a great loss, the last time I looked at it (a few years ago) it was terribly out of date.

Ok, the list is there, but it's just a list, with no information on features, and it's 3 years old.

On a (more) positive note: do a web search for "list of email providers" (or a similar phrase),

Thanks for pointing to a thread, with a list. I had missed that one.

I was referring to a member on the list having compiled a table on an external white web page listing a whole list of email providers, their features, etc. Anyone has a trace of that external web page list compiled by one of the members?

If it's such an old list, didn't some features already change over time? Maybe searching for a new one will help you more in the end? Anyways, good luck

It's 9 years old. Of interest to internet historians
More importantly: the link is dead.

Another shot. Are you not mistaken with a link to Wikipedia?

Found it ...
Now all you big shots EMD regulars for year and years did not yet find it ... Am I happy and proud!

https://prxbx.com/email/

Did not remember it was a privacy conscious list, but that's the list I was hunting for.

Great! And in what thread did you find it?

The link has been quoted about a half dozen times on the forum, this looks like the earliest mention:

http://emaildiscussions.com/showpost...1&postcount=31

However, I can't find mention of anyone on the forum that admits to creating the web page.

There have been ideas of compiling a list of email services and have members of the forum assigned to try out a few of the services each in order to make a full list of features per service. Nothing has ever done concretely though, it'd take a quite large number of forum members being dedicated to try out email services they'd not spontaneously try if it weren't for that list.
