Some of those net jargons are certainly unfriendly to people who are from non-English-speaking countries/areas.

Some of them can be pretty unfriendly, even if your mother tongue is English! .
BTW, do other language communities have their own net acronyms? just wondering...? |

Lots of good providers
Lots of good providers mentioned here. I do agree that Hotmail does look more professional than Yahoo. FastMail, MailSnare and Runbox are more professional. I love the geeky quirks in FM, but MS does have a lot more professional features with the VO option. I also like Safe Mail as well.
