Rules not working

Over the last 30 minutes or so, I've gotten 8 messages in my mailbox, all spam or spam-related. Six were or at least seemed to be spam; I checked one, and it had a spam score of 9.8, and the X-spam header read spam. I have rules set up to throw this spam into spam folders, and they have discarded hundreds of spam messages over the last couple of months. Two were "Infected File Rejected" notices, for which I have a rule to discard, and which had in fact been working and had discarded hundreds of notices over the last couple of weeks. But starting about a half-hour ago, they stopped working and all this mail was dumped into my mailbox. The rules didn't seem to be working. I didn't change anything on my end.

Here's an excerpt of the rules that suddenly stopped working:

Code:
require ["fileinto", "reject", "vacation", "regex", "relational", "comparator-i;ascii-numeric"];

[snip]

if header :contains "X-Spam" ["spam"] {
  fileinto "INBOX.Junk Mail";
}

if header :contains "Subject" ["Infected File Rejected"] {
 # fileinto "INBOX.Trash"; (just until spam gets under control)
 discard;
}

if header :contains "X-Spam" ["high"] {
  fileinto "INBOX.Trash";
}
And here's an excerpt from an e-mail I just got that the rules didn't filter, and which was dumped into my Inbox:

Code:
Received: from 10.202.2.150 ([10.202.2.150] helo=mail.messagingengine.com) by messagingengine.com
 __with SMTP; Sat, 27 Sep 2003 09:38:44 -0400
 X-Mail-from: jlawrencewq@yahoo.fr
 X-Delivered-to: [snip]
 X-Spam-score: 14.5
 X-Spam: high
 X-Spam-hits: BASE64_ENC_TEXT, BAYES_70, DATE_IN_PAST_96_XX, FORGED_MUA_OIMO,
 __HTML_70_80, HTTP_EXCESSIVE_ESCAPES, MIME_HTML_ONLY, RCVD_IN_DSBL,
 __RCVD_IN_NJABL, X_AUTH_WARNING
Thanks. (Copied to Fastmail support...)

The sieve script seems to be being completely ignored at the moment.

Unhappy

Confirmed here too. No incoming messages are being filtered in my inbox.

(BTW, I am using the Beta server's filtering)

Richard has already acknowledged this, and is looking into it.

It's not working for me, either.

I made no changes to Rules/sieve.

Until now, I didn't realize how much I rely on sieve. Now I'm getting mail to a dozen lists, two lists that I administer, virus blocking notifications, postmaster reports for sites I manage, and, of course, all that spam, spam, spam, eggs, bacon and spam delivered to my inbox.

I can confirm that my rules stopped working sometime this morning -- the first mis-filtered piece of mail I have is from about 8:55am.

Rob is our white knight!

There was some weird cyrus problem, with looooots of lmtpd processes, but it should be resolved now. The logs say that sieve is working again.

Richard.

Glad it's apparently fixed. I have 40 emails to handle now. Also, glad this forum is here to help me find out fast what the problem was.
