Gmail threading
I have used Gmail for years and always liked the threading aspect of it. However, i just started working for a sales organization and I thus send out many email templates with the same subject line.
Yes, you guessed it - Gmail is threading all emails with the same subject line, despite different recipients. This is driving me nuts. Seems to me that Gmail would be smart enough to only thread those conversations wherein the subject line and participants are the same. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this? I know I can turn off threading, but that would probably result in even bigger problems. Again, all I want to do is to ensure that Gmail does not thread any emails wherein the recipients are different, even if the subject line is the same. Thanks, David |

It's very easy - go to Settings and change the Conversation View to off.
