Shared contacts on a Mac

Hi,

Does anyone know how to set up shared contacts on a Mac?

It works fine on an iPhone, but for a Mac you have to setup a 2nd contact list manually:
https://www.fastmail.com/help/contac...edcarddav.html

I have followed the CarvDAV instructions here, but cannot get it to work
https://www.fastmail.com/help/techni....html#contacts

I find the instructions confusing as there is conflicting info regarding the username. I have tried every combination (username, server) I can think of and haven't got it to work.

I have raised a ticket, but if anyone knows how to do this, I'd appreciate them sharing.

OK, got. there myself by process of (frustrating) elimination.

The webpages on how to do this is totally wrong (out of date?) and will lead you down a rabbit hole.

For anyone that wants to know, use the "auto" settings when adding a shared CardDAV account, and insert "+Shared" between the username and the .tld, so test@domain.com becomes test+Shared@domain.com

Do not use "Manual" or "Advanced" - but is no longer necessary,
