Beta testing a new feature set for all MXroute clients. Log in with IMAP credentials.

https://mxroute.com/portal

This is the start of my plans to capture the entire Google Apps feature set. Simple, yet effective.

This is awsome. i'm a faithful customer of MXroute and would love to know more about the features you plan to implement in the near future. Any chance we could get some kind of rough roadmap?

Truthfully I'm afraid to publish anything semi-official in appearance as I know many people would take it as a guarantee of some kind. I can tell you that implementing CalDAV and CardDAV in a single web based environment (where CardDAV actually works with Roundcube) is high on my list, as well as easy mobile configuration for it.

A concept with no time frame or no working model is an imapsync based alternative to mail forwarding, where mail is literally pushed to the receiving account over IMAP.

OwnCloud no longer considered to be in testing. Now live when you click "Portal" on the home page. It may not be everything I'd like it to be...yet...but it's darn near perfect in what it is and with webmail integration it's a nice portal for end users (who could be clients of our clients).

OwnCloud and webmail now run on their own dedicated server instead of on the MX1 server. We're looking to grow, hope you guys are enjoying your service

Just noticed that the DATE column information is missing?

Also, when logging in via https://mxroute.com/portal/, the email/address book/settings buttons (in Roundcube Classic) don't work?

Good to have other eyes looking out. I moved webmail/OwnCloud to another server and apparently forgot to specify a default date.timezone in the PHP configuration. This has been resolved. Thanks for catching that.

The address book and settings options have been working for me. What browser are you using?

Perhaps I should have said Roundcube Classic skin.

This was Chrome browser on my laptop - now (on my Nexus 10) with Chrome, same result.

I have to log in via https://mxroute.com/webmail/ to access the said buttons.

Oh I see. Yeah the OwnCloud implementation requires the Larry skin. I'll need to decide whether to force the Larry skin or focus on providing two links. Admittedly, the first seems more attractive as multiple entry points goes against the idea of simplicity. I'll toy around with some ideas and see what the best compromise is. The /webmail address will continue to work regardless.

I use the Larry skin anyway - was just experimenting with various settings when I encountered the Classic skin problem.

And thanks for sorting the date column.
