Plants, and their fruits, of the genus Pisum, of many varieties, much cultivated for food. They have papilionaceous flowers, and the pericarp is a legume.
PEAS, for short.

If you can't beat the HEAT don't eat a heavily spiced snack!

It's hard to BEAT the heat here in Texas when it's above 95 F (35 C) each day. At least it's a cool summer, as some years it's 10 degrees F higher (43 C).

It's hot on the west coast too! The BEST time of day is late evening when you can grab a cold beer.

There is a beverage called BEET Beer, AFAIK something peculiar to the USA. I've never tried it.

Welcome to the EMD Forums! This is an explanatory post. If you PEER at it you will learn how to play the game.

This is a game thread (as you can see by the thread subject) and the rules were established in the first post (with additional directives we added along the way). Each post makes up a new four letter word (which is a real dictionary word or name) which we typically show in ALL CAPS. One letter is changed from the previous word, and it should not be a recently used word shown on the reply screen of previous posts. We also make the changed letter BOLD. You can only change an existing letter of the four letter word (or delete a single letter and add a new letter at the start or end). The last word was BEER, so BEET and PEER and BERT are some of the possible answers, which are created by changing the last or first letter or by deleting an 'E' and adding a 'T' at the end. We show use of the new word in one or more sentences.

Take a peek at your leisure, no need to PEEP.
