Calendar sharing?

This may not be a Fastmail specific question, but someone here will have an idea.

I would like to have a shared calendar with my husband, who only uses google calendar. I am happy using iCloud/apple/iPhone calendars or Fastmail, but don’t want to use google, if at all possible.

I know we can tag each other in events and have items added to each of our calendars, but is it possible to have one that is just shared in common? Is there an external app that would facilitate that?

How do other people solve for this?
