Yeah, I agree. I sometimes miss that old mail.com interface from circa 1999-2000. It was great: clean and simple. I don't understand the idea behind a big gooey Outlook-like web app.

I love the interface, which reminds me somehow of Roundcube, and I'll certainly use this service quite a bit if/when more features are added (e.g. checking external accounts).

I've had the same experience. I used the service for a while and was quite happy with it, including the free web hosting, but it seems that it's slowly disintegrating and it's time to bail out...

Yeah, I suppose it's a vestige of the days when AOL ruled the ISP roost. I like AOL mail well enough, but don't use it very much anymore. I'll just wait til this new version becomes "standard" to try...

Agreed. I have a member account, and I'll probably just keep logging in to keep it alive for whatever reason, but the quota limitations combined with lack of POP access make it pretty much unusable...
