After 10 years, I'm off to Google Apps
Well, after a few years of being lazy at renewal time, I've finally made the switch and have dropped my FastMail account and migrated by domain over to Google Apps.

I'm hoping the fact that I just decided to sync all my folders with Windows Live Mail and it had kittens has nothing to do with the current outage! Coincidence? It seemed to die as soon as the folder...

Facts
There IS a disk array (there are two 4TB (4000GB) RAID6 arrays), but unfortunately one suffered the loss of 3 drives.
The overall infrastructure redundancy, including a better way of managing a 4TB...
