Sloppy wording on my part, sorry - this is from looking at the Received header for when the email arrived at fast mail, when looking that up on whois.

Yep - even the secondary MX seem to be taking 20+ seconds to get the '220' initial response.

Though I did just manage to login to my webmail...

It's not impossible to have zero points of failure, just very very expensive ;)

I agree my solution doesn't cover every possible failure, but it seems like a good compromise.

I discovered that part of the business account archiving allowed me to copy...
