Cannot send mail
Hi...I am trying to send a message but I keep getting the following error message:
The attempt to load "Accessing URL: http://www.runbox.com/mail/send" failed. Is there a problem with runbox.com today or is this a problem with my mail specifically? |

I just sent a message around 3 pm eastern time and it got sent fine. Im going to try to send it again and see if I get the error.
UPDATE: I just sent the message and recieved it fine. I guess it must be your runbox account. Spin |

I was still having problems but I have cleared my cache and history which seems to have resolved the problem (not sure why!) Thanks for your replies.

cannot send mail either
I am having a problem sending also - this is the error message
I put xxx on the email and subject for privacy. I've been getting this on and off throughout the day. Any ideas? The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was xxxx@yahoogroups.com'. Subject 'xxx", Account: 'G2birdmom2 - R', Server: 'smtp.runbox.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 relay not permitted', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79 |

Hmm, and you still have authentication checked then, since it works sometimes..?
Could you try using port 26 instead of 25 for smtp.runbox.com? Liz |

Unfortunately my problem has reoccurred. I am not sure why it is happening erratically but it seems as though it is not a runbox problem but perhaps something to do with my computer or internet provider?
I am using a MAC G4 with OS X 10.1.2 with Explorer or Chimera. Any thoughts as to what could be causing the problem? |

Hmm...does this happen with any specific mails, i.e. with attachments for instance? Have you given fast.runbox.com a shot..?

No..it happens with no attachments at all and whether it is a reply or a new composition. I have also tried fast.runbox with no success. Could it be a problem with my account specifically? Is there any way to check the runbox error log to see why it is failing?
Would it be better to follow this up on the support channel? |
