Thumbs down

up against the big storage players, ie. gmail, bluebottle, gawab and walla, it, well, sucks....
also, the correct URL is http://www.xasamail.com not http://www.xasa.com which only provides 6mb's.

I tried xasamail, and I dont like it, the interface [as said before on this thread] is too plain, and boring. The two gig storage is the only plus that I can think of

Thanks for your comments man.. I am currently trying xasamail.com and it looks like they are using the same email application of Yahoo.

I am still testing, but (as I said before in another thread) there is a huge time lag. You send an email at 1:00 PM for instance, you get it at 2:00 PM.

They do not support POP/SMTP either, so it's just storage.

Sincerely,

Nader M. Arafa

I have just tried to login right now to my account and something very strange happened. I got the following message:

"No account under the username narafa.
Please check the spelling and try again"

I have logged to my account though 2 hours ago.

Seems that they have suspended my account or is it just a system bug..!!

Sincerely,

Nader M. Arafa

yea, we dont seem to be having any good experiences with this mail service, too bad, a free two gig account would be nice to have for a main account.

Always "The page cannot be displayed". Is their capacity so limited? Or my ISP's problem?

I've checked my account quite a few times tonight and always get right in. I also sent some messages earlier from a different account and they were received instantly. No problems at all here.

It works for me too!

Missing some basic features like draft and spell check!

Xasamail.com (not xasa.com) - what a find! It looks like GMail but works with Opera. I signed up yesterday and so far so good. I use the theme Hot - Ser, and it's nice and different, spicy. I'm wondering if the company is in Spain, or another Spanish-speaking country. I couldn't find anything about the company through a Google search. I may make this my only web-only mail, and say goodbye to GMail.
